Matt was born & raised in Dalhart. He serves as a bivocational pastor who oversees the preaching & leadership of Liberty. He loves people and desires to help them understand & apply the Word of God to their lives. 

He is married to his wife, Jordan, and they have four awesome kids- Walker, Emma, Sawyer and Roxie. 

After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics, he and his wife moved to North Carolina where he earned his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a fourth generation farmer and farms east of Dalhart with his family. 

Matt enjoys spending time with his family, farming, fly fishing, and traveling.
