What to Expect

A Friendly Church

You'll interact with gracious Christians who love one another and look forward to the opportunity to meet and get to know you.
We offer child care during our morning services and infant care during our Sunday evening service. You are always welcome to keep your child with you, but these services are available to you.
We have a gift for you, so be sure to meet one of our greeters, fill out a guest card, and receive your gift. The guest card is used to help us get to know you a bit. It is a place where you can request information, ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us. In any case, we will use it to pray for you during the week. You will not be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you are new.

A Diverse Church

You will see people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. And the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes us one family.

A Comfortable Atmosphere

You'll notice some folks who like to dress up for church and others who do not. (The dress varies from as casual as jeans and cowboy boots to as formal as suits and dresses.) Feel free to wear what is comfortable for you, and you will fit right in. We only ask that you dress in a way that will not draw attention to yourself. This will help all of us give our attention to the One we came to worship!

An Engaging Worship

We will sing together. The music will be an upbeat and passionate expression of our love for God and His work for us in Christ. The words of all of the songs are projected onto a screen at the front of the sanctuary. Our hope is that you'll hear songs you know or can relate to, even if you haven't been to church in years.
We will read the Bible and look into the Word of God together. The preaching will be a careful explanation of a text of Scripture combined with very practical-world application. We think you will find it both challenging and helpful to your walk with God and your daily living. Most of our preaching is done from the English Standard Version of the Bible. If you do not own a Bible, we would be happy to give one to you while you are here.
We will pray together. We will go before the Lord to express our love for Him, confess our sins to Him, express our thanks to Him, and bring our requests to Him.
We will give together. We do collect an offering, but this is for our regular attending church family. You are our guest and under no obligation to give.
